Originally from Ethiopia, I built a career in fashion by mastering sales, design, marketing, and production. I founded my fashion design company, supplying well-known stores like Nordstrom and Bloomingdale’s. However, after my pregnancy with twins required me to pause my business, I transitioned to working as a designer for my husband’s custom tile company, which we now share.
